Patti Souder and Jana Carman wrote People Like Us: Eden and Beyond in 1997, and I got to see a production of it at The Lamb's Little Theatre. Patti and I got to know each other on a group drive between NYC to Toronto where I performed I Dreamed I Was Free at a Christians in Theatre Arts conference.

It's the 99th anniversary of Eric Liddell breaking the world record at the 1924 Paris Olympics and the 1st anniversary of Timothy J Mercaldo and I conceiving the idea of a production about revival. We just had to celebrate!

We'll be performing excerpts from Songs of Revival this Sunday, July 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Middletown: We'll have a formal close to the service, but here's what they're putting in the program: "EXTENDED WORSHIP AND PRAYER FOR REVIVAL."
