The Debut Was Well Received!
In large part to your prayers, my dress rehearsal of SuperCentennial Celebrations came off without a hitch, and the audience was extremely supportive!
Now I appreciate prayers for my performance of these monologues at the Museum of the Bible on the third and Fourth of July: www.RichDrama.com/blog/post/SuperCentennialCelebrations.
My #ScriptureInTheNight post was too long for Instagram, so I'm sharing it here:

We no longer need to hide! We can run to the One who can cover our shame. He paid the price so we can walk with Him once again.
The way Rev. Dr. John Witherspoon preached it on May 17, 1776:
Unless you are united to him
by a lively faith, not the
resentment of a haughty monarch, the
sword of divine justice hangs over
you; for ‘except a man be born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God.’ The fear of man may make you
hide your vices; but nothing less
than the sovereign grace of God can
produce a saving change of heart and
temper, or fit you for His immediate
presence.
I’ve greatly condensed this for SuperCentennial Celebrations, but the Gospel was at the heart of the sermon that opened the door for Rev. Dr. Witherspoon to walk into Independence Hall on the Fourth of July, 1776, and sign the Declaration of Independence (which they actually did on August 2nd).
If you’re getting ready to celebrate our nation’s freedom, why not make it the anniversary of your own: www.RichDrama.com/blog/post/MyPassion.

What follows is from my #WhatScriptureSaysAboutLove series, which is explained at www.RichDrama.com/blog/post/WhatScriptureSaysAboutLove.
אָהֵב [ʾāhēb] v.
204 uses in 202 verses
All their evil is at Gilgal;
Indeed, I came to hate them there!
Because of the wickedness of their deeds
I will drive them out of My house!
I will love them no more;
All their princes are rebels.
— Hosea 9:15 NAS95
In SuperCentennial Celebrations Rev. Dr. Witherspoon tells how the Liberty Bell called them to Independence Hall the day before they signed the Declaration, where Samuel Adams said from the steps of Independence Hall to the multitude who gathered:
“We have explored the temple of
royalty and found that the idol we
have bowed down to has eyes which
see not, ears that hear not our
prayers, and a heart like the nether
millstone. We have this day restored
the Sovereign, to whom alone men
ought to be obedient”
This is how Rev. Dr. Witherspoon (in SuperCentennial Celebrations ) sums it up:
“The people of Israel rejected God
when they chose a man as their king,
and the American colonists rejected
a man and chose the Lord.”
Then he repeats the motto of the War for Independence: “No king but King Jesus!”
