A Tribute to a Great Mentor
I recently ran into a friend from the '90s and asked if I'd sent him the recording of the memorial service of Mac Nelson, whom we both knew back in those days when all three of us attended The Lamb's Church of the Nazarene on Times Square.
Mac and I met soon after I moved from a 70-acre farm to an 8’x10’ room on Times Square: He went to the altar during a Sunday morning service for prayer over his niece, and I went down to pray with him. We soon became good friends, and he was a great mentor in acting, writing, directing, and teaching. He was best man at our wedding, and I was so honored to give his eulogy.
When I went to send the link to Mac’s memorial I realized I'd never shared the link through my blog or Substack. Mac went to be with the Lord last September 20, so I thought this was a good time to post this:

We're getting close to releasing our report on our missions trip to Paris and Beyond. Stay tuned.
