Last week I played one of the narrators and a messenger of the Eternal One for the story of Samson in the reading series  Hears the Story. As Providence would have it, I got to be in a scene with Christ Over Career founder, Cameron Arnett (actor in Overcomer, I Still Believe, Running the Bases). Even though it was a reading, it was an answer to prayer and a whole lot of fun! 

Tonight I'm thrilled to play Boaz in the story of Ruth .

I play a lead in  Providence, which  you can bring to your area.

Joyce and I have just returned from the Asbury Outpouring. If you're not on our prayer team, you may not have heard, but Asbury University's February 8 service still hasn't ended! As I write it's been going for 277 continuous hours! Joyce and I were reporting on it, and you can see our articles and interviews at www.RichDrama.com/AsburyRevival. 

In 1970 Asbury had a revival that went for 185 hours. Four months later Time magazine validated the Jesus Movement with a cover that said, "The Jesus Revolution." Now, with tens of thousands flooding Asbury's campus from at least 24 colleges and universities, individuals from all 50 states, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Brazil, at least, a Time magazine of the film world is releasing Jesus Revolution coast-to-coast. 

We're going to see it this Thursday, February 23, at 6 p.m. at AMC Empire Theatre on Times Square.

We'll also see it Saturday, February 25, at 2:55, at City Center 15: Cinema de Lux, White Plains, NY.

We'd love for you to join us, so we can tell stories about the Asbury Outpouring after a film about another revival 50 years ago. God is on the move again, and we can't stop telling people about it!

Oh, and next Tuesday at 7 p.m. the Hears the Story series continues. I'll play one of the narrators and a messenger of The Eternal One. 

On February 28 I was just offered a role in their series I'm really excited about, but they haven't announced the cast list yet. Stay tuned. 

The event went miraculously well, far beyond what I imagined or expected. After a brief introduction, our reading of Genesis 1-4 was 20 minutes, and the rest was discussion! It was rich and robust and led by Holy Spirit! When the director, Christopher Monroe, brought it to a close I was utterly shocked when I discovered we’d gone 90 minutes! It didn't feel that long at all. Time stands still during rich engagement with the Word of God. 

In that performance I played Cain and reprised the role of The Serpent, which I performed in The Beginners Bible: The Story of Creation. Christopher had me take the character in a totally different direction, which elicited some great feedback from the audience, but at the end I snuck in an homage to the original. 

On Session #3 on Tuesday February 7 at 7:00pm for Jacob and the Stolen Birthright I’m cast as Isaac and God. I appreciate your prayers, and if you're in the NYC area you're most welcome to attend!
