Rallying Cry of the Revolution?

Today this article of mine ran on www.HeadlinePrayer.org:

Lord, thank You for how You delivered us from an oppressive monarch and set us on a path with You as our Sovereign.


On the stage of the Museum of the Bible during Rededicate America, as Rev. Dr. John Witherspoon, I bellowed a motto of the War for Independence: “No king but King Jesus!”


I posted the phrase on social media, and a friend from high school called its veracity into question, so I did a little digging.

There's one thing my friend wrote that I didn't address in the article: "We were founded -clearly - on the principle of separation of Church and State." I didn't address that comment in the article for two reasons: 


1. I was 500 words over my target length when I submitted the article, mostly due to the quotes of our founders I included. 


2. Most of our intercessors have been hearing where the phrase "separation of Church and State" came from for decades. 


In case you haven't heard, it didn't come from our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, or our Bill of Rights. It's found in a letter our third President, Thomas Jefferson, wrote to the Baptists of Danbury, CT, who were concerned that the newly formed federal government would dictate how their church was run. He responded:


I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State.


President Jefferson was assuring them that the First Amendment was protecting them from the government running the church, not that there could be no influence of the Church on the State or no expression of faith from those in government. 


President Jefferson closes with this: "I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection & blessing of the common father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves & your religious association, assurances of my high respect & esteem."


He wrote that on January 1, in the Year of Our Lord Christ (as he was want to put in official Presidential documents) 1802. Two days later, he got on his horse and rode to church in the Capitol.

Here's another statement my friend made that I didn't have room to bring into the article: "I could see why non-Christians would be alienated by this type of misleading post. Jesus Christ is our savior, but we must respect all religions in order to provide a safe and respectful place for all citizens."


My response is that our nation was dedicated to reaching those people, not hiding the soul-saving Gospel from them. In 1607 settlers landed at Cape Henry in what is now Virginia. After three days of fasting and prayer they pulled two beams from their ship to make a cross. In the shadow of that cross Rev. Robert Hunt prayed this: 


We dedicate this land to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth. May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains and may this land, along with England, be evangelists to the world.

Rededicate NYC

Lord, if any place needs Your governance, it is New York City. As our initial national capital, receive NYC back. Your Will be done and Your Kingdom come here. In Jesus’ Name.

Last week, a young Jewish woman was choked, beaten, and stripped of a chunk of her hair by a hateful fellow subway rider — a woman who claimed she could smell the children the far smaller woman had “eaten.”

This happened at the same time as Mayor Zohran Mamdani became the first NYC mayor to skip the Israel Day Parade in its 60+ year history.

Our members decided it was time to fulfill IFA President and CEO David Kubal’s call to:

  • Recount the hand of God upon our nation,
  • Reclaim what God has done and will do again,
  • Rededicate our nation to the glory of God.

We did this by retracing the steps of our forefathers in lower Manhattan.

IFA has been followingMs. Peters’ storysince 2021, whenthe FBI invaded her homeat 6 a.m., waking the 60-year-old single woman to a SWAT team in full combat gear. This is because she exposed that 29,000 election logs were deleted during a “Trusted Build” in 2020.

We went to a pre-release screening of A Great Awakening last Wednesday and were thrilled that Joshua Enck (writer/producer/director), Jonathan Blair (writer/George Whitefield), Josh Bates (Alexander Hamilton), and Katie Miller (head of Sight & Sound’s film division) were all in attendance and willing to do interviews with me after the screening.

"What Will SAVE America? An Awakening!"


Lord, our government leaders fight like cats and dogs. Please bring another great awakening! We need You like never before!

Leaders from every state are at each other’s throats! Are they arguing over the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE America) Act or funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)?

Nope. Those tensions won’t rise for 239 years. The heated debates comprise the first scene of A Great Awakening, opening nationwide on April 3. At issue in the Constitutional Congress of 1787 is the power dynamic between large and small states. That will soon be solved by creating the House of Representatives (with the number of representatives based on population) and the Senate (with two senators for every state, regardless of size). Though it isn’t featured in this film, we know from The American Miracle Expanded that eight of the 13 states wanted to abolish slavery, which also caused much contentious chatter.

I know some of you voted for Angel Studios to pick up Star Spangled Adventures: The Movie, and I'm so grateful, since I play a few roles and think it's going to have a very positive impact on children during this SuperCentennial year. 


Unfortunately, it was voted down. Our team argued that it needed a bit more context, so we're being given another chance. You'll see that our new clip opens with an animated Dr. Ben Carson setting up the film for students. The Star Spangled Adventures series and movie were his idea. 


If you can watch it with children that’s better, and you’ll only be able to see it once.


FYI: I've heard it's easier to vote on a phone than on a laptop.

Many Christians are among those who have been protesting how Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is handling deportations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There were more than 600 faith leaders and clergy who went to Minneapolis on January 22. About 100 of them were arrested for “trespassing and failing to comply with an officer.”

Lord, thank You for how history has been preserved. Even the recording of evil is helpful to direct our prayers for the Jewish people today.


The Anti-Defamation League reported the most antisemitic incidents in the 46 years it’s been tracking them, and Jewish leaders are already expressing concerns for the New Year with Zohran Mamdani — a Muslim Twelver — inaugurated as mayor of New York City, with more Jewish people than Jerusalem.
