We're planning our next international trip, to bring Songs of Revival: Hungry After God Himself to Wales and Northern Ireland in June 2025. Stay tuned.

The following Tuesday they ran an interview I did with André Cronje (at the 38:27 mark) the night before we gathered on the bridge where the Last Supper was mocked during the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics:

The day after my interview with André, we had church for three hours on that bridge! We anointed it with oil, prayed, sang praise songs. I performed excerpts from Beyond the Chariots and prayed with people who stopped to watch. Joyce and I did an enacted prayer in which she portrayed one of the performers from the Opening Ceremonies standing on a black scarf representing the stain left by their presentation. As Jesus I washed her feet to get her to step off of the stain so I could remove it. 

After lunch we returned and took communion. Then I performed the end of my play Journey to the Garden: “Ilohi, Ilohi, lema sabachthani? My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? It is finished!” I pantomimed being taken off the cross and being rolled into a shroud. Then I leapt up, shouting, “Death could not hold Him!” and proclaimed the Gospel.

This week I co-wrote "God Gets the Last Word at the Olympics": 

Lord, you have raised up many Christians in athletics and elevated them to the Olympic platform. Now that the closing ceremonies have ended the Games, continue to work through their witness to their teammates and fans. 

Though there was much about the Olympics in Paris that broke the Father’s heart, His witness went forth through the many Christian athletes.

While I was in Le Villette — Parc des Nations (Nations Park) — in Paris, I felt prompted to pray for some of the Christian athletes in front of their national houses...

We created an album from my performance at The Sots Kirk Paris on July 6, exactly 100 years after Eric Liddell preached there instead of running a heat of his best race at the 1924 Paris Olympics. It has photos of the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Rt Rev. Shaw Paterson, and Miranda McIntosh, Head of the Scottish Government Office in France, who both spoke eloquently before the play about Liddell putting Christ over career. After the play the three of us unveiled a new plaque commemorating the 100th anniversary of Eric Liddell's preaching in the Scots Kirk Paris on July 6, 1924.
